![]() The event viewer doesn't show anything useful other than events from "MsiInstall" that show an install for Crystal reports was initiated. I've very carefully purged the computer of all files related to crystal reports, and ran the windows installer cleanup utility to check if any turds were left behind. It will get to around 99% completion, then roll back the changes and report "Crystal Reports 11 installation ended prematurely because of an error". But now (and for the last week) I have not been able to get Crystal Reports to reinstall. At the time I didn't realize I could disable DEP for specific programs, so instead I uninstalled Crystal Reports and tried to reinstall it. The new CPU supports data-execution prevention which prevented Crystal Reports 11 from running properly. ![]() I have a terminal server that is running Windows 2008 圆4 and we recently migrated this server to a virtual environment (VMware ESX). ![]()
